So I'm looking into superchargjng my 71 sb with a 1600 dp and I know that people have used the stock intake manifold, attached the supercharger in an "upright" position, then created the piping for the carb to bend down 180 degrees from the top of the supercharger then the piling goes sideways to the carb. Has anyone done this and how well does it work.
I'm also wondering if I would be able to use a stock mechanical fuel pump (technically mines a replacement one but u get the idea) or would I need an electric fuel pump.
Also how much hpttprque gains do I get and would I need any upgrades enginewise (pistons and such) I'm planning on resealing it anyways so I wanna know if there would be anything else that I would need.
Also kinda unrelated, but what intake should I get if I go the supercharged route? Is the stock one fine, or do I need to buy or build one?
